In the simplest sense, baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision. It is a public declaration of your faith in Jesus. Which only makes sense, because the Bible leaves no room for someone to follow Jesus privately. Just as Jesus went down into death and was resurrected, baptism symbolizes dying to our old self and being raised to life with Jesus. We encourage you to take this next step today!
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the
very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20

You will learn about what baptism is, how we practice baptism at SAC, and we will give direction on how to prepare for baptism.
Please email the church office or talk to Pastor Mike if you are interested in attending one of these classes.
